Connect Apple Health

Your steps, workouts, active calories, weight and nights arrive in Bogeton on their own.

On this page

  3. Change what Bogeton can read
  4. Disconnect

With Apple Health, Bogeton reads what your iPhone, watch, scale or ring measure: your daily goal follows your activity, and your nights are logged on their own.

Connect Apple Health

  1. Open Account › Settings › Activity and Apple Health.
  2. Tap Connect Apple Health: Apple’s window opens.
  3. Turn on the data to share (simplest: Turn On All), then Allow.

Data updates every time you open the app. The first time, Bogeton also reads your history, up to 10 years back, in the background: your charts, your body age and your review start from far back. Everything is kept on your account and comes back on your new phone.

What Bogeton reads

Steps, distance, floors, active calories, workouts, weight, sleep and, with a watch, resting heart rate, variability and VO2 max. On days you move more than planned, your calorie goal goes up a little (70 % of the extra calories, up to 800 kcal).

Bogeton also writes the workouts you do in the app to Apple Health.

Change what Bogeton can read

iPhone Settings › Health › Data Access & Devices › Bogeton.

Disconnect

In Activity and Apple Health, tap Disconnect: what Bogeton read from Apple Health is erased from our servers and your goal no longer follows your activity. Weigh-ins already imported stay in your tracking.
