What Bogeton keeps

What you log or allow: meals, weigh-ins, nights, workouts, steps, and what you choose to share from Apple Health or Health Connect. This data is used to calculate your goals, reviews and tips.

Your tracking is stored on Bogeton’s servers, hosted in France, and backed up every day. See Where your data lives: hosting and energy.

What you control

  • Apple Health or Health Connect: you choose each type of data, and disconnecting erases what was read. See Connect Apple Health.
  • Bogeton AI: Use my food profile and Use my data can be turned off in Account › Settings.
  • The microphone for night listening: sound is analysed on the phone. See Night listening and your microphone.
  • Meal photos are used to analyse your meal, and the photo of a meal you add stays on your account for My trips; barcode images never leave your phone.

What stays private

Your date of birth, sex, height, weight and tracking are never shown to other members. Only your username and photo appear on your recipe reviews.
