Your daily goal and macros

What “kcal left”, the target zone and macros mean, and how to change your goal yourself.

  3. Change your goal yourself

Reading your day

At the top of the Nutrition tab, the big number shows the kcal left (or kcal beyond), what you’ve eaten and your goal, above a bar. Tap it to switch to the ring, and tap again to go back (or the gear › Your day as a ring to keep it by default). Below, three bars for protein, carbs and fat: their name above, their grams below.

A day is on target, close to target or off target. The calendar and statistics count a day as successful when it stays within the target zone.

Why your goal moves

  • Every Monday, your review may adjust it based on your weight trend and your days.
  • On days you move more than planned, if Apple Health or Health Connect is connected, your goal goes up a little: 70 % of the extra calories from your usual activity, up to 800 kcal. See Connect Apple Health.

Change your goal yourself

  1. In the Nutrition tab, tap the gear (Tracking settings).
  2. Under Daily goal, tap Edit.
  3. Simple mode: you set calories, and carbs and fat are split automatically. Detailed mode: you set each macro.

The goal is then Set by you. To go back to automatic, tap Go back to Bogeton AI’s calculation.
