Start an outing

  1. In the Activity tab, Workouts view, choose running, cycling or walking.
  2. Tap Start: a 3, 2, 1 countdown, and you’re off.
  3. Put your phone away: the outing continues in the background, and you’ll find it on the Lock Screen.

When you arrive, tap Finish and say how it went. Less than 100 metres? Bogeton asks whether you want to keep it.

Allow location

Route tracking needs location. If it was declined, allow it for Bogeton in your phone’s settings (“Always” or “While using” depending on your phone), and check that location is on.

Outing settings

The gear in the Workouts view:

  • Voice: distance, time and average at each kilometre; your music lowers during the sentence.
  • Auto pause at lights and stops, countdown, screen on to see your numbers without unlocking.
  • Route colour (effort, speed, gradient, altitude), a palette readable with red-green colour blindness, map style and line thickness.
  • Your effort reference: automatic from your outings, or your threshold pace or threshold power.

After the outing

Your outings appear in your history: route, pace, elevation, calories. You can Rename or delete an outing.
