Set days or flexible rhythm for your workouts
Each session has its day, or they follow each other in order whenever you can: pick the rhythm that suits you.
Two ways to follow your program
- Set days: each session has its day, your rest days are planned. This is the default, for people who train on a schedule.
- Flexible rhythm: sessions follow each other in order, A, B, C, whenever you can. The Activity tab offers the next session of your program you haven’t done yet this week. Your week counts as done from 2 sessions.
The program and the sessions stay the same: only how the Activity tab shows them changes. In flexible rhythm, Your week shows the sessions’ letters and the minimum to reach, and Apple Watch offers the same session.
Change rhythm
In Activity settings › Workout rhythm, or from Manage my program. The Suggest based on your weeks switch lets Bogeton suggest a change.
When Bogeton suggests a change
Bogeton looks at your last weeks and never changes your rhythm without your say-so:
- A more flexible rhythm?: 3 weeks in a row under the planned number of sessions.
- Your weeks are complete: 4 weeks in a row with all your sessions, in flexible rhythm. You can go back to set days.
- Fewer, fuller sessions?: one is always missing. A program with fewer sessions keeps the same work per muscle, because it’s the week’s volume that drives progress.
Choosing Keep or changing rhythm pauses suggestions for 4 weeks.
